Update for the week ending 7/15/2006

I have made arrangements for TJ to attend Local Officer Training at the NATCA Academy in Washington, DC on September 18th and 19th.

I used 27 minutes of Rep Time on Wednesday and 52 minutes on Thursday.  Most of it was spent making the office computer in our 4th floor office operable.  I have established a high-speed wireless Internet connection for us at no cost.  This connection is 100% independent of the FAA’s network which is good news.  I also installed 512 Megabytes of Random Access Memory and Norton Antivirus 2006 as well as a 17-inch monitor.  I will update the Microsoft Office applications next week and the machine will be useful to all.

I have no news regarding the firm offer letters for transfers.

I haven’t established the new officers on the bank account - yet.  That item moves to the top of the list for next week.

I have been updating our local website at http://bur.natca.org   Please visit there often and I'll try to keep you interested with new information.

We have had 3 Pilot Deviations in two weeks; pilots seem to be making mistakes when you least expect it.  Stay vigilant and let’s watch out for each other.
